eKosova — app screenshots

Overview

eKosova puts the majority of public services offered by Kosovo’s institutions into a single app. Requests and documents that used to mean queuing at a counter are handled from a phone, in a clean interface built for citizens of every background and age group.

My role

I designed and implemented the iOS app. I built the mockups in Adobe XD, iterated on them with the client, then implemented the app, staying in continuous contact with the Android, web and backend developers so the service behaved the same everywhere.

Hardest part

Dozens of institutions, each with its own service, its own forms and its own data shape, all living in one app, and an audience that runs from students to pensioners, many of whom are using a government app for the first time.

I designed a single pattern that every service plugs into, so each institution’s flow looks and behaves the same. Learning one service means knowing them all, and adding a new institution is a matter of configuration rather than a new set of screens.

Architecture & stack

Swift and UIKit, built against the government’s service APIs, with Adobe XD as the design source.
